Reflecting on Graduation: A Journey of Faith and Growth
Just two days ago, I had the honor of graduating with honors from Liberty University—a moment I’ve dreamed of for years, but still feels incredibly surreal. As I reflect on this milestone, I’m filled with gratitude for how far I’ve come and for the incredible journey that led me to this day.
🏫 From Reluctance to Gratitude
It’s hard to believe that not too long ago, I begged my parents not to go to Liberty University. I was scared, uncertain, and honestly, didn’t feel ready to leave the comfort of home. But despite my fears and resistance, God had a plan, and He gently led me to a place I never thought I would grow to love so deeply.
When I look back now, I see that Liberty wasn’t just a place for my education—it was a place of deep transformation. I came to pursue a degree, but what I found was a deeper relationship with the Lord, a new sense of calling, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
💛 Honors, Growth, and God’s Faithfulness
Graduating with honors was never my primary focus, but now I see it as a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness. The late nights, challenging assignments, and moments of doubt were met with grace, provision, and spiritual growth.
More than the academic achievements, I’ve walked away from Liberty with something far more valuable: a deepened faith, a renewed sense of purpose, and lifelong friendships that were built on a foundation of shared love for Christ. These friends have walked beside me through thick and thin—they’ve been my prayer warriors, my accountability partners, and my constant source of support. Leaving them behind as I move on to the next season of life is one of the hardest parts of graduation, but I know that the bond we share is unbreakable, no matter the distance.
🌱 Planting Seeds: Business and Fundraising
Many of you know that my small business, The Little Women Co., has been a big part of my college journey. It’s been such a blessing to combine my love for plants and my heart for missions. Almost every plant I brought with me to Liberty has now been sold—each one finding a new home and part of the proceeds going toward my World Race fundraising efforts.
I also recently hosted a yard sale at my house, and it was such a fun and rewarding experience. It was a time to connect with my community, share the heart behind my mission, and see God move in unexpected ways. Every plant sold, every conversation, and every prayer has been a tangible step in walking out this next season of ministry.
✨ Looking Ahead: Trusting God’s Plan
Though graduation marks the end of one chapter, I’m excited and expectant for what’s next. I may not have all the answers about the future, but I know this: the same God who led me through Liberty—who shaped me through the friendships I’ve built and the lessons I’ve learned—is guiding me forward.
“The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”
— Isaiah 58:11 (NIV)
